Ingredients
Scale
- 7 medium red potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
Instructions
- Wash and rinse the red potatoes thoroughly, then dry them with a towel.
- Dice the potatoes into approximately 1/2-inch pieces.
- Rinse the diced potatoes again to remove excess starch, then drain and dry them.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and any optional seasonings. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil spray.
- Arrange the potatoes in an even layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the basket, shake or stir the potatoes to flip them, and cook for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with eggs, bacon, cheese grits, or alongside your favorite meals.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding other spices like paprika or Italian seasoning.
Make sure the potatoes are in a single layer in the air fryer to ensure they cook evenly.
You can substitute red potatoes with Yukon gold or any other varietals for different flavors.
