Ingredients
Scale
- 10-12 chicken legs
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390℉ if applicable.
- Pat chicken legs dry with a paper towel and place in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to ensure they're coated. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, corn starch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and smoked paprika. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the chicken legs and toss until evenly coated.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray. Arrange the chicken legs in a single layer with some space between them for air circulation (you may need to work in batches).
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip each leg and continue cooking for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉. Serve immediately.
Notes
For crispy skin, ensure the chicken legs are well-coated with oil.
Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
