  • Prep Time 75 minutes
  • Cook Time 12 minutes
  • Yield 10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 c water, warm
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c milk, warm
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk warm water, sugar, and yeast together. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly and foamy.
  2. Add warm milk to the mixture and whisk again. Then, stir in salt and vegetable oil. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, combining until a ball forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Place it in an oiled bowl, rolling it to coat all sides with oil.
  5. Cover the bowl with a thick kitchen towel and let the dough rise for about an hour until it doubles in size. Punch down the dough and knead for an additional minute.
  6. Divide the dough in half and shape each piece into a loaf. Place in oiled mini loaf pans.
  7. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise again for about 30 minutes until it's an inch above the pan.
  8. Brush the loaves with melted butter and place the pans in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 330 degrees for 12 minutes.

Notes

Ensure the water and milk are warm, not hot, to activate the yeast correctly.
The rising times may vary based on your kitchen’s temperature and humidity levels.
For best results, check the loaves for doneness before removing from the air fryer.
